Samhain pronounced sow-win marks the end of summer and the beginning of harvest season , a new year , a time when the darkness begins and the seasons change to cold. Samhain was before Halloween and celebrated among Celtic pagans. A time to honor one’s ancestors and welcome them with dedications.
